The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRBRES) have formed a unity council to resolve the impending impasse in the formation of the Accredited and Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) by recommending action steps that align the implementing rules and regulations of the e law.
The creation of the AIPO is pursuant to Section 34 of the Real Estate Service Act (RESA) or Republic Act 9646
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) led by Yolanda Reyes and the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRBRES) led by chairman Eduardo Ong initiated the creation of a Unity Council to resolve the impending impasse in the formation of the Accredited and Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) pursuant to Section 34 of the Real Estate Service Act (RESA) or Republic Act 9646 by recommending action steps to align the PRC IRR with the legislative intent of the law.
On Aug. 26, 2015, PRBRES and PRC appointed the following representatives of the pioneering and major associations, namely: Rodolfo Valencia (PhilRES), Florentino Dulalia, Jr. (PFRESPI/FIABCI), Nelson Arquiza (PAREB), Lizette Reyes (REBAP), Benigno T. Cabrieto, Jr. (NREA), Carolina Alvarez (PARA), Domingo De Vera (PARCS/FRESA) Nestor Quiambao (PHALTRA), Abundio Gultiano, Jr. (Central Cebu Board of Realtors, Inc.), and Dexter Reolada (GUAPORESP).
On September 7, The Unity Council, together with PRBRES and PRC signed a covenant on the integration of the associations composed of licensed real estate service practitioners of the Philippines which among others, agreed to propose amendment to the PRC IRR (Sec. 3(h) ) to harmonize it with the legislative intent of the law.
